Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you know that, following in Chad's footsteps this painting won the Stevan Dohanos award for 2009. It's actually the first thing I've ever won so I'm delighted. There will be an opening for the show on Wednesday Dec 2nd at 6pm at the Society of Illustrators if any of you are in the mood to attend. This painting started out life as a sketch from my bar project which makes it all the sweeter for me although it won't do much for my wife's campaign to keep me out of bars.
